232 new cases of coronavirus confirmed

kathmandu–With 232 new cases of coronavirus infected individuals in the past 24 hours, the total number of individuals testing positive for the virus in the country reached 15,491.

At a regular press briefing today, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Jageshwor Gautam said that 4,050 people were tested through the PCR method from 23 laboratories across the country.

On the occasion, Dr Gautam shared that 34 individuals lost their lives so far to coronavirus infection.

He said that the number of people staying at quarantine facilities has reached 33,125 while people in isolation totalled 9,042. Likewise, a total of 272 people were discharged from the hospitals after health recovery in the past 24 hours. With this, the number of total infected individuals winning battle against the virus is 6,415.
